New Middle Grade Series Webinar

Join Booklist and Random House Children’s Books for this second installment in a three-part series of special middle-grade webinars. In this program, attendees will hear from Michael Buckley (Finn and the Intergalactic Lunchbox), Theanne Griffith (Magnificent Makers series), Kate Messner (History Smashers series), and Kenneth Oppel (Bloom). Each author will discuss their latest releases, all of which introduce exciting new series, and participate in a brief Q&A led by Books for Youth associate editor Ronny Khuri. Whether you’re seeking action-packed comedy, haunting thrillers, fascinating historical nonfiction, or a modern-day Magic School Bus, we’ve got you covered.

Middle Grade Magic

Middle Grade Magic is a virtual summit, a day-long celebration and exploration of one of the burgeoning and most important – areas of publishing for young readers: literature for children ages eight through 12 – and beyond! Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at some of the most anticipated new titles for kids and tweens, from laugh-out-loud tales to eye-popping graphic novels to enveloping fantasy.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to check out the virtual exhibit hall, chat directly with authors, download educational resources, and receive prizes and giveaways.

Middle Grade Magic is a free, completely virtual conference – no traveling, no cost, AND you will be able to earn CE credits for all the webcast sessions you attend. Though the event has passed, you are still able to register, view panels, and visit publisher booths.
